Applause! is proud to offer classes in voice, acting, and dance. We believe our variety helps to create strong all-around performers, who could easily go on to pursue a future in the performing arts industry!

Our regular classes are open-ended and are only unavailable if filled.

Our special programs or workshops are limited to certain sessions, and are only able to be joined at certain periods of time. Once closed, students need to wait for a new session to sign up.

Dress Code

At APA, we ask our students to arrive in proper dress code, including appropriate shoes, tights, and hair, along with attire

ACTING & VOICE CLASSES: No specific dress or hair

BALLET CLASSES: Leotard and tights ONLY! (Ballet skirt allowed) Hair in a bun, all out of face. Ballet shoes.

HIP HOP CLASSES: Leotard or form fitted dance top. Sweats, Basketball shorts, Jazz Pants, Hot Shorts all allowed. (Tights with hot shorts; otherwise, tights are optional and encouraged.) Hip Hop shoes. (Must have clean soles. Please do not wear shoes worn outside on our floors.) Hair up, and out of face.

ALL OTHER DANCE CLASSES: Leotard or form fitted dance top. Dance pants with tights. Jazz shoes, Ballet shoes, tap shoes, paws, accordingly. Hair should be up and out of face.

Any dance costume acquired through an APA performance is allowed, unless they become a distraction to the dancer, or other dancers. If any attire becomes problematic, APA reserves the right to determine it inappropriate for class. Any dancer with their hair down or in their face, or with improper attire, shoes, or no shoes at all may be asked to leave class!
